Happy Summer!! It's finally here. My absolute favorite time of the year. Warm sunny days, longer nights and fun outdoors! I hope you are having a great summer!!
In keeping up with the celebration of the season, the Make Music New York Festival is celebrating 20 years of providing free concerts for New York City every June 21 for the past 20 years! The festival is now global. I will present two concerts for the 20th annual Make Music New York Festival on Sunday, June 2026!
At 1:00 pm, I will present a soulful set at Johnny Hartman Summer Solstice Music at Hamilton Heights in Harlem, New York City. It's been a couple of years since I've played there. This year they asked me back and I'm happy to return! It's always a great time with the crowd.
*The Johnny Hartman Plaza is a street DOT pedestrian Plaza, in West Harlem of NYC. Johnny Hartman known as one of the Harlem Renaissance Jazz musicians, was raised. The venue is in a block off street, stewards by a non-profit organization named The Brotherhood Sister Sol, and we will support all bands.
At 3:00 pm, I will be Jackie Robinson Park for a fun-filled set at the beautiful park in Harlem. I'm looking forward to rocking the crowd in the park!
*Providing ten blocks of resources, Jackie Robinson Park is a Harlem jewel. One of four spaces designated Historic Harlem Parks, the park is noted for its strong connection with the community.

Now in it's 20th year, Make Music New York is a live, free musical celebration across the city that takes place each June 21, the longest day of the year. On that day, hundreds of public spaces throughout the five boroughs become impromptu stages for over 1,000 free concerts.
