A special thanks to all our fans who attended Preachermann's Birthday Concert at The Shrine !

A special thanks to all our fans and new friends who attended Preachermann's Birthday Concert at The Shrine in Harlem on December 13th! It was a wonderful evening. Shalimar!!!

Here are Highlights from the show:

  • Preachermann's Birthday Concert

* On December 13th, we celebrated Preachermann's birthday at a special concert at The Shrine in Harlem.

* He presented old favorites such as Let It Rain, Preachermann and Negroes Stay Crunchy in Milk. He also presented new music such a as Freshly Glazed, Wine In the Mountain, Familiar To Me and Atomic Soul.

*It was a special show because Preachermann's mother and uncle were in attendance along with other relatives and close friends.

*Preachermann's mom served the audience red velvet birthday cake after the show and wowed the audience!

  •  The Technical Difficulties

*The drummer for the band wasn't able make the show on time and wasn't present at the top of the show. Preachermann made an executive decision to start the show without him. The show turned into an unplugged lounge set. Once the drummer came, the show became high energy force it usually is.

*I wasn't feeling well that day and I had to perform, even though I was battling a cold. I had to do several things before the show to ensure I would be in good voice (including getting rest, going to the doctor, getting prescription cough medicine, a special homemade ginger tea by Preachermann and my classical vocal technical training). It truly paid off because the audience didn't know I was sick (I found out after the show)!

  • The Performance

*The show was phenomenal and the audience loved it! We did our job. Shalimar!

  • KEY TAKEAWAY

*Even with the technical difficulties, you have to put your best foot forward and make it work!
