Rest in Peace: Little Richard, Andre Harrell and Betty Wright

Rest In Peace: This past week we've lost 3 legends in the music business:

The charismatic musician and founding father of Rock & Roll, Little Richard. His songs, "Tutti Frutti", "Long Tall Sally" and "Good Golly Miss Molley" were trailblazer hits and influenced such major artists such as The Beetles, and Elvis Presley.

Shrewd music business executive & founder of Uptown Records, Andre Harrell. He launched the careers of helped launched the careers hip-hop artists such as Heavy D & The Boyz, Russell Simmons and Sean “Diddy” Combs and many more.

The electric and sassy Soul singer, Betty Wright. Her signature song, "Clean Up Woman" topped the charts. She eventually ran her own label and because a producer, working with such artists as Gloria Estafan and Joss Stone.

These icons have given so much of their talents and gifts and have left a huge impact on the music industry and legacies will live on for generations to come. My condolences and prayers to their family, friends and all the fans who love them.
