Rest in Peace: Themi!

On Monday, January 15th, I said goodbye to my dear friend, super producer and partner in music, Themi Kyriazis. I'm still in shock that I will never see him and work with  him again.

Over the years, we've made so much music and had so many great conversations about the music industry, making records and music promotion. I always shared with him about my supportive fans and how much they loved our posts of our sessions. He was always so pleased to hear. He was so encouraging and helped me really understand how to be a better recording artist. Not only was he a talented musician, he was also a great teacher, mentor to the youth and a wonderful and kind human being.

There were thousands of students that he taught guitar at his school. For his final recital for his students over a year ago, he told me how well the students did and how excited they were to do the show. He was so pleased! It warmed my heart.

I am so grateful that we released, I Am Powerful last year. I never would have dreamed that would be our last session together. I loved the music he put to my song and I'm very proud at how it turned out.

Life is short and best lived to the fullest. Never underestimate the impact that you make to the lives of the people you touch. Rest in peace, dear Themi. You did great work. You are deeply loved and will be greatly missed!
